We support our clients throughout the value chain of a project, advising them strategically and according to the specific needs and purposes that are required:

• Obtaining deeds and authorizations such as environmental or sectoral permits; administrative, mining, geothermal or electrical concessions; rights to use water or special contracts for oil operations, among others.
• Contracts required to conduct pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, as well as the construction and execution of projects (including the establishment of easements, voluntary or prescribed by law; framework contracts, service contracts, drilling and additional drilling agreements and power purchase agreements, among others).
• Support in the project closure phase (for example, through the presentation of plans for mine closure or abandonment of operations).

We work with an approach that seeks the client’s active participation in decision-making and in understanding the solutions that are presented to them.

The team

Our team in the area of natural resources, energy and the environment is made up of professionals with great leadership at a national and international level around the challenges of the new environmental institutional framework.

Our lawyers have solid training in procedural matters, permits, administrative and judicial claims, in ordinary courts and special environmental jurisdiction and in international bodies such as the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. Likewise, they have had active participation in processes of citizen participation and consultations and negotiations with Indigenous people.
